Universal Sports- If the U.S. women's hockey team manages a return to the podium's top step at the 2010 Winter Olympics, it can trace the roots of that journey to its crushing loss in the Olympic semifinals four years earlier. That's when it became clear that not only were the Americans failing to keep pace with rival Canada, the 2002 and 2006 gold medalists, but they also were losing ground. Angela Ruggiero Eats Like a Pro to Stay Healthy

If you've watched an ice hockey game, you know how much stamina it takes. In seconds, players fly from one end of the ice to the other. It's a series of sprints and battles with the opposing team, all in search of one little puck.

In other words, not a game you want to play with no fuel in your tank. Angela Ruggiero knows that. Her three Olympic appearances have resulted in three medals: a bronze, a silver, and a gold. She'd like more gold in 2010. So in addition to training hard, she's paying close attention to what she eats, when she eats, and how much she eats.

Angela Ruggiero, a three time Ice Hockey Olympic medalist and cast member on NBC's hit show, “The Celebrity Apprentice”, graduated cum laude from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Like a true champion, "Angela impressed Donald Trump, and although she did not become the official "Apprentice," he did offer her a job."
