Three-time Olympian Angela Ruggiero of Harper Woods will participate in the USA Hockey Women’s National Festival Aug. 18-24 in Blaine, Minn. The event will serve as the selection camp for the 2009-10 U.S. Women’s National Team, which will compete a 10-game domestic tour that begins Sept. 25 and ends just before the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ruggiero, a defenseman and gold medalist, has played in more games (208) for Team USA than any other player.
