Shawn Johnson and her pal and dancing partner Mark Ballas as they arrive at the 2009 CMT Music Awards held at the Sommet Center on Tuesday evening (June 16) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 17-year-old Olympian tweeted from the event, saying, “Just finished the red carpet at the CMTs OMG it’s hot out but Mark and I are presenting tonight make sure to tune in!!!”

Shawn is also nominated for a few Teen Choice Awards — TV: Female Reality/Variety Star and Other Stuff Athlete – Female. Be sure to vote for Shawn!
